SHADOW CONSULTING
Supporting the work of colleagues as a sounding board, creative collaborator, and thinking partner.

Over the past five years, Nancy has served as a shadow consultant to colleagues and leaders as they design and then facilitate collaborative meetings. Generally, this work includes:
Supporting consultants and leaders in developing custom designs tailored to meet the specific objectives of a particular meeting. These designs have to work the first time.
Asking questions to sharpen the purpose and desired outcomes. Suggesting activities and approaches that build the necessary conditions to elicit the collaboration response.
Providing ideas for working the logistics of very large groups, for example managing report outs when you have twenty groups, or finding common ground when you have 200 participants.
“Collaboration always creates a better design. Sometimes I send Nancy a draft and through her questions and suggestions, together we make it great. Sometimes, I talk with her about the client and goal and together we create a design. I always feel better facilitating when Nancy has worked with me on design. If Nancy helps, it always works.” Jill Golde, COO, Leebov Golde & Associates
